Several people over the last few weeks have asked me how
I have done my linkage. I use the stock bell crank, to keep the
cost down, and use (don't laugh too hard) break parts off of
my mountain bike.
Total cost is about $8.00!!!

Here it goes:

I was going to spring $80.00 or so for the (TCI?) cable but I
did not want to Pull the gas pettle and all.

So I think it's about 12" total of sleave and 2' of cable and
all the threaded adjustment peices. It's very easy to hook it
up to the carb.

At the bellcrank I used a 1/2 "U" bolt to hold the cable to the
bellcrank and the cable attaches to the center of the ubolt and
crimped with a wire fastener.
I used a "L" 2" X 1/4" bracket screwed to the firewall with a
3/8" hole for holding the cable.

A friend is going to weld or brase the cable to the old
discarded peice of linkage so that way it will just pop on the
old way.

At the carb I drilled a 3/8 inch hole just above the level plain
for attaching the screw adjuster. Use the stock crimp for
attaching the cable to the carb.
Thats it. Check for full throttle.

But for $8.00 worth of parts it works fantastic and is safe!
I do get full throttle, no bing and it returns to idle just like
any other car.
Been using it for over 2 month now with no problems.
Here are some crapy pics. New ones will replace these.
